Meet Coby: Our Newest (and Furriest) Team Member

At the beginning of August, we officially adopted Coby, one of the local stray dogs from Yirrkala. His journey with us started a few months earlier when we began our latest project back in April. Coby immediately took a liking to Tom, one of our workers, and since then, the two have been inseparable. Whenever Tom is out in the community, Coby isn’t far behind, loyally following him around the job site.

There were a few anxious moments, though. One day, Coby decided to take a solo tour of the area and was picked up by the local Pets and Wildlife shelter. They posted a Facebook alert for a possible lost dog, and that's when we realized we couldn’t let him go. So, we took the leap and made him an official part of the team—and part of the family!

It’s now been over two months, and Coby has settled in beautifully. In fact, he’s quickly become our most dedicated employee, always eager to hop into the truck every morning. Rain or shine, he’s ready to supervise the crew, keeping a watchful eye on all the activities around him.

Who knows, with his work ethic, maybe we’ve got a future project supervisor in the making!

We couldn’t have asked for a better friend and teammate. Coby’s not just a dog, he’s part of the family—and we’re so happy he found his forever home with us.
