HomeGrown Territory Grants
The NT Government currently has grants available to assist with building or purchasing a home in the Territory.

The HomeGrown Territory Grant offers $50,000 to first-time homeowners to support building or purchasing their first home. This grant applies to contracts signed between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025.
Replacing the previous $10,000 First Home Owner Grant, it is available to owner-builders and those purchasing off-the-plan.
With no cap on the build or purchase price, it offers greater flexibility for eligible applicants.

The FreshStart New Home Grant provides $30,000 for existing homeowners to build or purchase a new home. This grant applies to contracts signed between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025.
Open to both owner-builders and off-the-plan purchases, the program offers flexibility with no cap on the build or purchase price.
